Wazi Maret Davis is originally from Hyattsville, MD and moved to Oakland a year and a half ago to pursue a master of arts in sexuality studies at SFSU. They currently also work with underserved youth in east Oakland doing violence prevention work and youth leadership development. Outside of that, Wazi organizes with the Black Lives Matter Bay area chapter and Black Youth Project.

Brianna Gibson is originally from Landover, Maryland and has been living in San Francisco for the past year and a half. Brianna works as a full-time paralegal and organizes with the Black Lives Matter Bay Area Chapter.

Black Brunch is a form of resistance and direct action tactic based out of Oakland, CA. It was designed by Black folks for other Black folks.
