JEREMIE, Haiti — The U.N. humanitarian coordinator made an emergency appeal Monday for nearly $120 million in aid to devastated Haiti on as local aid officials struggled to get food, medicine and water to increasingly desperate communities still isolated almost a week after the blow from Hurricane Matthew.
