Toyota, Special Needs Network and KJLH Celebrate Upcoming Special Olympics World Games

Los Angeles, CA (De julio 10, 2015) — Special Needs Network, one of California’s most active advocacy nonprofits for people and families living with special needs, has joined Toyota y KJLH Radio to showcase the Special Olympics World Games coming to LA on July 25. The Special Olympics World Games is the largest sporting and humanitarian event for individuals with intellectual disabilities. La 2015 World Games will bring together 7,000 atletas, 3,000 coaches and more than half a million fans to witness 25 competitive events.

The three organizations, along with support from LA County Supervisor Mark-Ridley Thomas y LA City Councilmember Curren Price, have a series of community outreach events targeted to South LA, as well as activities planned to support the World Games. Their collective tribute to the World Games will kick-off at a press conference and reception on Wednesday, De julio 15 en 10 am. at the Los Angeles Expo Center Swim Stadium en 3980 Bill Robertson Lane – one of the original sites of the 1932 Summer Olympic Games. The groups will be using hashtag #SouthLAGotGame to promote the events through social media channels.
