Shawty Lo is set to star in a new Oxygen reality show called “All My Babies’ Mamas” but the series is already being boycotted before it can even hit the airwaves. The Atlanta rapper is reportedly set to appear in the show with 10 of his “babies mamas” but it’s rubbing fans the wrong way.
A petition has been launched at Change.org and has amassed over 2,000 signatures so far. From the words of the petitioner:
Oxygen Television Network is prepared to broadcast a one hour special celebrating the dysfunction of rapper Shawty Lo…aka the insulting title ‘My Babies’ [sic] witnessed by his 11 children…by 10 different women…(some may have been underage) as they….argue, beg, fight for emotional, financial support and sexual reward. What is the difference between this ministrel [sic] show and the others which clog the airwaves without proper balance of the beauty and positive aspects of our community??

This is just another example when you tell your children it’s all about making MONEY and we see PRIDE, DIGNITY goes out the window. So other capitalize and market dysfunctional relationships. So we continue to hear the myth that there’s either a shortage or no Good Black Men out there. Why because they continue to parade CLOWNS like this and people think this is the norm and more books can be written and more stories for shows on TELL LIE VISION. I think this guy was also one of Shirley’s Strawberry’s STRAWBERRY LETTER’S last year.
