Sgt.

  1. Thank you for your service formost to our country and our great city, Los Angeles. It’s very unfortunate that you are going through this ordeal behind someone who obviously has a lack of respect for authority. I hope and pray that you will be able to stay on the force with the LAPD. Your patience as a veteran police officer should and can be modeled by the whole LAPD, starting with Cheif Beck. Always remember (WhoRah)!

  2. I served as a tactics instructor as well as a peer mentor for untold numbers of LAPD personnel. I always taught tactics from two perspectives.;

    1. To Stay Alive
    2. To Keep One’s Job

    If the alleged ethical violations (which I shall not mention here in a public forum), against him are sustained, he may very well lose his job. For Those of Us who are “Old-School United States (Etats-Unis) Armed Forces personnel, we call such a faux pas “BEADWINDOW.“

    (As A Former US Marine, Parker should have known better …….)

    Semper Fi,
