Poll Question: When Is Snitching Okay?

With the murder of Kashmier James on Christmas night in front of her 3-year-old daughter, the question begs, when is snitching to the police okay?  Are there circumstances where the community should give a pass and allow people–be they gang members or otherwise to snitch out a killer who kills a child, a mother, or a mother in front of her child?
