MICHAEL RICHARDSON, the father of Mitrice Richardson, in a November 2009, won a favorable ruling from a Superior Court judge. In his wrongful death suit against the Los Angeles County Sheriff’Department. Michael Richardson and his daughter’s mother, Latice Sutton, last year filed separate lawsuits against the county concerning the death of their 24-year-old daughter. Both complaints were later consolidated. There’s been a great amount of controversy and community concern regarding the entire incident. Recently there’s been a settlement in their case.
