Alcalde James Butts

En enero 11, 2011, James T. Culos, Jr. fue elegido como el 12º alcalde en la historia de la Ciudad de Inglewood. Mayor Butts has a combined 39 años en la seguridad pública, gobierno municipal y la educación. He holds a Bachelor of Science from California State University at Los Angeles and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from California Polytechnic University at Pomona.

Prior to being elected Mayor, El Sr.. Butts served the residents of Inglewood for nearly two decades as an Inglewood Police Officer, en última instancia, llegando al rango de Jefe Adjunto de Policía. He then
worked as Chief of Police in the City of Santa Monica. Mayor Butts retired as one of the longest serving police chiefs in the County of Los Angeles from the Los Angeles World Airports system where he was responsible for Public Safety and Counter-Terrorism.
