Jasiri X, As President of LYRICS Inc. Jasiri successfully navigates communication with youth and adults showing the pros and cons of this growing phenomenon called Hip-Hop. He recently became the first Hip-Hop artist to receive the August Wilson Center for African American Culture Fellowship. Jasiri released his debut album AMERICAN HISTORY X in December of 2009.

I heard the 10 frisk commandments at the end of the show this morning, and I haven’t been that excited about a song in years. Reminded me of the late 80’s Public Enemy, NWA. I appreciate a young artist who’s actually willing to say something. If I can buy this track somewhere, I hope someone will let me know
