When Glenn Ellis, Sr. enrolled in the pre-med program at the University of Pennsylvania, it was just the first step in his lifelong commitment to ensuring the health and well-being of others. The Birmingham, Alabama native has earned a well-deserved reputation as an internationally respected health educator and complementary medicine consultant. His second book, Information is the Best Medicine, was released in 2012.
After the University of Pennsylvania, Ellis continued his studies at the International College of Bio-Dynamics and the Atlantic Academy of Classical Homeopathy. Ellis is currently enrolled in graduate studies at the Institute of Bioethics at St. Joseph’s University.
In his professional capacity, Ellis lectures on both traditional and non-traditional medical methodologies. His particular focus on Ethics and Equity in Health has earned him the respect and recognition of his peers globally.
He maintains a busy lecture schedule in the U.S. and abroad, where he highlights health disparities and medical ethics. Ellis speaks at churches and community centers and is a popular and well sought-after university guest lecturer. He has made scientific presentations in Belgium, Germany, Cuba, Africa, and The Netherlands.
Ellis publishes a weekly web health column for EURweb.com, the premier online source for urban “infotainment.” EURweb.com attracts 1.2 million visitors each month, and the site’s daily e-mailed newsletter has a database of 72,000 subscribers (including a large celebrity list), which reaches over 1.4 million readers.
