Poets are doing a fundraiser for the LA Food Bank!

Join us for a poetry show and fundraiser for The Los Angeles Regional Food bank. This event is organized by The World Stage in conjunction with The Community Literature Initiative and hosted by Beyond Baroque. The night will feature Poets from various LA Literary Centers, including The World Stage. Each dollar donated equals seven meals, so the $20 admission ticket will pay 140 meals for LA residents who are in danger of going hungry. We hope to raise enough for 12,000 meals! A small portion of the donations will be set aside for poets in our own writing community who may be in need of groceries. Performers include Jaha Zainabu, V. Kali, Akoldpeice, and Hiram Sims.

Admission $20
Food will be served

When: January 16, 2016Where: Beyond Baroque Literary Art Center
681 Venice Blvd, Venice, CA
