It is highly irresponsible of you and your guest, a so-called “Dr.” to advise people that drinking lots of products that are high in vitamin C will protect them against viruses. You both need to take a basic course in science, particularly in biology, to learn what viruses are and how they behave in animals.
Where the heck did this “Dr.” get his credentials? You are just as at fault for bringing him on your show as a so-called expert and misleading people into believing that he’s a real doctor. I highly doubt that he’s a real doctor to be spewing this nonsense over the airwaves. If you don’t want to vaccinate your own family with the flu vaccine, that’s understandable but don’t encourage your personal beliefs on others, this type of thinking is part of the reason why so many in the black community are dying from HIV, ebola, H1N1, 等等. You think drinking lot of OJ stopped the transmission of HIV in Africa or here domestically?
Think again.
Time for you both to hit the books and learn a thing or two about evidenced-based practices, because clearly that nonsense that I heard on the radio this morning – ain’t it. Pure ridiculousness. I felt like turning off the radio, and all that quack did was talk about himself and take up the majority of the radio time and hardly left any time for callers. Ebola is real and the CDC estimates that over 1 million people worldwide can potentially die from it by January 2015.
还, there is some evidence that Ebola can be spread via aerosol transmission, in addition to mere contact with bodily fluid. 再次, you come across as ill-informed Dominique by bringing fake Dr’s like your guest on live air to spit out a bunch of non-sensical B.S. – I doubt that he can even spell the word virus based on the nonsense I heard on the radio show this morning.
