While he was in law school he worked as an extern for the Honorable Terry J. Hatter, Jr., Senior U.S. District Court Judge, Central District of California. He also acted as a mediator in the small claims division of the Superior Court of Orange County. After graduating from law school and passing the bar in November, 2006, he was hired as an associated at Johnson Oakleaf, APC. In 2010 he opened his own practice as a bankruptcy attorney in Long Beach CA.
He is a member of the State Bar of California admitted to practice in all courts of the State of California, the United States District Court, Central District of California, and the United States Bankruptcy Court, Central and Eastern District of California.
