Founding Front Page show hosts Carl Nelson, Rico Reed, as well as former KJLH News and Public Affairs Director Jacquie Stephens and radio veteran Lee Michaels joined current Front Page host Dominique DiPrima for a look back at 20 years of the Front Page Radio Free 102.3 KJLH.

It was really annoying that the guests on your show (especially Nelson and Michaels) took up sooooo much time this morning having a debate about the date when Frontpage was founded. Just felt that the time could have been better used and that was something that could have been done off the air in the interest of time. Now, I realize that Nelson was the former host way back when…people get that, but this is 2012 and there are other issues that are just as relevant and that affect our community just as much. Plus, the guests came across over the airwaves as rude by continually cutting off Diminique (Frontpage host) when she was talking.
I think you (Diprima) are excellent handling the issues affecting the African-American community because you know the issues well and you address the issue very articulately. .
I want to hear Diprima talk more and I want to hear about the 1992 Los Angeles civil unrest and the conditions the triggered the unrest, and what we can take away from that or what we would do differently now.
I felt that the Michaels and Nelson hogged the mic on this morning’s show because they just talked at length about themselves needlessly, it was like beating a dead horse and it became annoying after a while and ending up coming across as pompous, especially since the show is only 90 minutes long. And, less than that if you account for the songs at the beginning and the break for commercials. What a bunch of time hogs. The guests (especially since they claim to be veterans in the industry) should be more conscious of how much time they are spending talking about trivial matters.
Anyway, Stevie Wonder needs to give Dimprima more airtime and extend Frontpage to at least three hours.
I really wanted to hear more from the callers and the callers comments pertaining to the 1992 civil unrest in the Los Angeles area. Those guys spent far to much time talking about themselves instead of the issues, i.e., the

I agree with you. I stopped listening to FP after Carl Nelson left because DP is not a good host for the show. She cuts down anyone who does not agree with her. It is not fair to the listeners. Her opinion is the only one that matters.
