Scientists Use Video Game Tech to Remotely Control Cockroaches on Autopilot

A North Carolina University research team have used video game technology to remotely control cockroaches on autopilot, so that they can be used in rescue operations at disaster sites.

By incorporating Microsoft’s motion sensing Kinect system into an electronic interface they remotely steer the cockroaches with a computer.  Kinect was designed for Xbox 360 video game consoles.
