Weekly and most recently one of 40 People Under 40 by the Advocate Magazine,  Jasmyne Cannick is best known as a frequent on-air contributor on the intersection of pop culture, politics and race. As a social commentator and opinion writer, Jasmyne has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, Chicago Sun Times, Los Angeles Daily News, and Ebony Magazine to name a few and her syndicated column appears in African-American newspapers from coast to coast. No stranger to radio, she is the past co-anchor and reporter for the Evening News on Los Angeles Pacifica radio station 90.7FM KPFK and has served as a segment producer on KJLH-FM’s Front Page show.

Jonathan M. Deer has been litigating and practicing business law for more than 25 years. Mr. Deer’s extensive commercial litigation experience includes numerous trials in state or federal courts, arbitrations and mediations.  He practices in the areas of real estate, corporate and partnership disputes, licensing, contracts, commercial collections, commercial leasing, commercial insurance claims, life insurance fraud (on behalf of individual victims) and a wide variety of other business claims.  In his real estate/business law practice, Mr. Deer handles general business contracts, corporate and business entity formation and governance, and matters in commercial real estate, licensing, business purchases and sales, entertainment contracts, and numerous other business issues.
