Mind Cooling Meditation Breath Work (Open mouth-heart breathing)

The 3rd Eye Thursday mind cooling meditation will support, relieving some tension brought on by the heat.  Try to do this in the cool of the morning and or evening. Our, 3rd Eye Thursday Mind Cooling meditation breath work, is simply mindful open mouth breathing. Which supports the nervous system to keep the body cool and calm. (Please read guidelines first before doing meditation.)

The 3rd Eye Thursday Mind Cooling Meditation guidelines:

  1. Just simply place your hands over your heart and close your eyes.
  2. Open your mouth wide and take a very slow long deep breath allowing your chest to rise.
  3. Close your mouth and place your tongue at the roof of your mouth while holding the breath just for a second.
  4. Feeling and focusing on the heart beat as your hands rest on your chest at your heart center.
  5. Then open your mouth wide to exhale all the breath out very, very slowly. Feeling your chest drop
  6. Close your mouth. Placing the tongue at the roof of the mouth. Pause for a moment.
  7. Feeling and focusing on the heart beat as your hands rest on your chest at your heart center.
  8. Repeat the breath pattern for only 5 to 7 deep breaths.
  9. After 5 to 7 breaths close your eyes. Feel your heart beating in your hands.
  10. Try to keep your eyes close and listen with your inner vision. Feel your body relax.
  11. Stay still for about 3 to 5 minutes with eyes closed.
  12. Then Open your mind to the gifts being offers to you from within the truth of your soul. Allow yourself to take in the images. Feel the wisdom of your heart aiding in celebration of a cool, comfort and calm summer season.
