Ron Brewington is a well-known veteran entertainment reporter in the greater Los Angeles area. He’s also an associate professor at Santa Monica College and a past adjunct professor at West Los Angeles College, teaching broadcasting and journalism. He has also guest lectured at USC and UCLA Extension.

Brewington is also the National Vice President and Executive Director of the Motown Alumni Association Chapter, Los Angeles.

Brewington is also the President of B & B Productions, producing nationally syndicated radio programs.

He’s the President of B & B Public Relations with clients including the 1st annual International Jazz Awards, Tamar Entertainment and jazz singer/songwriter Rita Shelby.

Brewington is the former National Public Relations Officer, Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. (TAI), who was responsible for the total press activities for all 55 national chapters.

A double prostate cancer survivor, Brewington is the Education Director for the “Real Men Cook” Foundation. The organization provides prostate cancer screenings and educational forums throughout the greater Los Angeles area.

He’s a current member of Western Knights Lodge #56 (A&FM), 100 Black Men of Los Angeles, Inc., U.S. Navy Public Affairs Alumni Association (Life Member), Tradevman (TD) Association, Tomorrow’s Aeronautical Museum (Charter Member, “The Aviation Angels”), American Aviation Historical Society, and Entertainment Publicists Professional Society. Brewington was inducted into the Broadcasters Hall of Fame in Akron, Ohio on November 4, 2007.
